As the only Industrial Design intern on a small 4-person team at Progress Lighting, I was given full autonomy over designing a coastal fan, now called the "Rudder".

I started with the fans functional and aesthetic needs, moved through sketching, 3D modeling, and final material renderings. Finally, I spent the last month working with our manufacturer in Guangzhou, China to maximize cost efficiency while keeping the design's essence intact. The Rudder successfully made it into production in late 2020, and is now available at major retailers like The Home Depot and Lowes.

Additionally I designed 2 different families of interior lighting - a Refined Traditional group, and Indoor Wicker pendants.
